Anniversary Weekend

We just shared a wonderful 3-day weekend at Rocky Mountain National Park, near Estes Park, Colorado! Thanks so much to Grandma Gardner and Aunt Jenni for making it possible!

This was our 9th anniversary, and a great opportunity for Wade and Dara to get away and spend some time in Gods creation, while at the same time taking the opportunity to reflect on our relationship.

The conclusion to our weekend is that we are blessed. Thanks so much to all of you who pray for us.

Rocky Mountain High!

Wow, what a day! Dara was gone for the weekend to a ladies retreat, and my Mom had the kids for the day, so…. It was off to the mountains, for a last good mountain bike trip before the snow flies!

As it turned out, the Aspens were in full color. What a sight! This has to be a taste of heaven. The route was less than 3 miles one way, but steep enough and at over 10,000 feet of elevation – so I ended up pushing the single speed plenty. But the ride down… yeah!
