Ropes Course

Wade and five college students had a great team building time at a ropes course on Aug 8. We drove the 3 hours up to Estes Park to go through the course at the YMCA there. We were blessed to have our friend Steve take us through the course. It was a great reminder of how communication is about speaking AND listening! It was so encouraging to watch (and participate) as the students worked together to solve the puzzles and challenges.

This time away from the “ordinary” really opened up a lot of doors for the students to learn more about each other and themselves. As they understand how challenging themselves physically opens new possibilities, so also do they learn how challenging themselves spiritually opens new possibilities.
